Privacy Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
This policy explains how Erithacus (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit erithacusgroup.co.uk or get in touch with us. We aim to collect as little as we can and to be clear about what we do with it.
Who is responsible for your information
Erithacus is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@erithacusgroup.co.uk.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
The contact form on this site does not send your details to a database. When you press “Send message” it opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, and nothing is sent until you send it. If you do, we receive your name, email address, company and what is going on (if you choose to give them) and the contents of your message, plus anything else you choose to include. We use this to reply to you and to discuss whether and how we might work together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, where you ask us to, taking steps before entering into an agreement.
Website usage
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are viewed, the country a visit comes from, the type of browser or device, and the page that referred you. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working well and improving it.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address and request details in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and does not use any cookies that require your consent, so there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as Vercel (hosting and analytics) and our email provider, and only so far as is needed for them to do that. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK’s approved transfer mechanisms.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your message and, if we work together, for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. We then delete them or keep them only in anonymised form. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individuals.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or to object to our use of it. Where we rely on our legitimate interests, you can object at any time. You can also ask for a portable copy of information you gave us. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@erithacusgroup.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.
